About Me

Thank you for taking the time to read my bio. I hope it convinces you to consider me as your representative and advocate for all of your real estate needs. Who you choose to represent you, in my opinion, is the single most important decision a home buyer or seller or real estate investor can make. No matter how much experience a buyer or seller brings to the table, each transaction has pivotal, make-or-break moments where the steady hand of an experienced professional is essential. Those key moments translate into money saved and a successful transaction, or dollars lost and time wasted. I know that success or failure hinges on quality representation, and a worthwhile representative must have two key attributes: • First, the ability to truly hear what the client desires and needs; and, • Second, the time-tested experience to know what must be done to satisfy those needs and when it must happen. If the representative lacks either skill, then clients may truly be better off following their own intuition and hoping the Internet provides the crucial information they need. There is no margin for error: you’re represented by an expert or a rookie, with zero shades of gray. Thirty years of experience — along with plenty of trial and error — have made my instincts razor sharp. Time also has made me appreciate how much I truly love the initial meetings with prospective clients. It’s in those “getting-to-know-each-other moments” where I have the opportunity to understand their motivations, limitations, desires, and needs. We meet as fellow human beings and, over time, evolve into mutually trustworthy collaborators. What I learn when we first meet informs every single decision and action throughout the entire transaction. Plus, I’ve come to appreciate that my expertise in navigating the complexity of each real estate deal is a critical step toward my clients’, and thus my own, success. To succeed, real estate professionals must be affable, sociable. Yet authenticity is preferable to being outgoing. My clients tell me they are attracted to my tendency to be transparent. My commitment to service, professionalism and advocacy, coupled with honesty, integrity, and ethical behavior, nourishes the trust that evolves as client and professional work toward a common goal. My deep sense of responsibility to each client and their success is a hallmark of my career. I know that what I do is a privilege, and I take nothing for granted. Whether you are a sophisticated investor, a family needing to move up, an empty nester eager to downsize, a senior who needs to explore new housing options, or a first-time homebuyer — please contact me to discuss your real estate goals. I’m always available. BACKGROUND Nancy Troxell Carnahan is an original Valley Girl, minus the quirky mannerisms or clipped speech patterns.
